About Momma Bear Audio
My name is Rylee, and I am the founder and CEO of Momma Bear Audio. After making a Black Friday purchase of a Yoto player for my kids and my nieces and nephews for Christmas, I quickly realized my love for MYO cards(AKA Creative Tonies in the Toniebox world), and I also realized the challenge of finding really fun and unique audio for these super cool screen-free players.
After spending an arm and a leg on 3 Yoto players, some basic cards, adventure jackets, and tabs and rings to store my cards, I felt like I needed to give my wallet a break. So I started reading books aloud and recording it.
Enter creative brain: that quickly transitioned to me writing and recording my own stories and games for my kids and nieces and nephews. Well that same night I had an epiphanyβ¦ I know that I needed and wanted this content and I was sure that other people also could use it too!! And thatβs how Momma Bear Audio was born. I wrote my first games and activities album, started a facebook group and started sharing it for free. Turns out, that feeling I had was right. People really could use this content!
My official business started January 23rd with Momma Bear Audio LLC, the first website rendition was launched early February and itβs just been slowly growing ever since. I started by selling each audio separately but found a weird caveat to thatβ¦ Releasing so much audio meant that it was going to get expensive too! 5 playlists could cost you close to $10! So thatβs where the subscription came to mind. For $2.99, you can get a ton of playlists to start and then multiple audio playlists every new month, instead of just 1 playlist for $2.99!
What I already had as affordable audio, I wanted to make MORE affordable and this was the answer!!!
So I made the switch! And it was the BEST thing I could have done. I am so excited to offer this to you all and I canβt wait to make Momma Bear Audio a great option for you and your family. I am excited to start expanding my collection, hiring other writers, audio editors and voice actors and making this bigger than myself.

As of now, I write all the content. In the future, I hope to have some additional authors and artists join in as well. But I will always be the final editor of the content. I want to provide content that you can trust. I am very particular with what my children listen to and I always want to be cautious with what audio we provide. Think "clean content" when you think Momma Bear Audio.
I bought my daughter a Yoto for Christmas but I also bought my nieces and nephews a Yoto for Christmas. Knowing content was expensive, how could I help give my daughter and all my nieces and nephews affordable content? I can make it myself! I don't want parents to be concerned with the content in these tracks. Obviously, as parents, we will ALWAYS do our due diligence to make sure our kids only listen to appropriate content, but I will ALWAY do my best to keep things clean, positive and safe for your families.

Keeping content affordable was honestly my ultimate goal. I couldn't afford to pay $5 for one book or $2 for one song, so I thought I would try to do it myself. And then I had way too much fun with it!
Kid-Friendly
I'm a Mom of 2 kids 3 and under and I'm a proud auntie to 7 nieces and nephews and I was a former preschool teacher. I created this content for my own family and will continue to create content with my family in mind. I want you as parents and caregivers to always be WELL informed with what content they are listening to which is why every playlist comes with a transcript!
