The Scoop on Poop
The Scoop on Poop turns bathroom giggles into real science, guiding kids through the full journey from first bite to final flush. With clear, age-appropriate explanations, your child will learn what poop is, how digestion works, and why color and texture can tell us about health.
Beyond the basics, we explore astonishing animal facts (cube-shaped wombat poop! beaches made by parrotfish!), the surprising history of toilets and toilet paper, and the many real-world jobs that keep our communities clean and healthy, from plumbers and lab techs to waste-treatment engineers and compost operators.
To keep little listeners engaged, the episode sprinkles in a call-and-response game, a short multiple-choice quiz, and a catchy original song (“Everybody Poops”) that celebrates body confidence and good hygiene. We even include a sweet mini-story, “The Poop Who Couldn’t Plop” about courage, encouragement, and of course that final plop into the toilet.
Perfect for car rides, or science units, this screen-free audio helps kids ages 4–10 laugh, learn, and feel comfortable talking about how amazing their bodies are, because yes, everybody poops, and that’s a wonderful thing to understand.
